SPECIFICATIONS: Ishema women’s coffee was founded in 2014 by Joy Ishema. Joy’s passion is to provide people a good workplace and create equal job opportunities for women in Rwanda Joy’s main objectives are:
1/Jobs creation in the rural area mainly for women.
2/Help coffee farmers in the area to increase production and improve quality.
3/Increase women’s income through mobilising them to grow and own coffee.
4/Improve health of its staff and the community around.

Joy’s washing station employs more than 30 women. These women receive a share of the profits generated by the washing station. The work has provided the women with money for food and better living conditions for their whole families. In the future, Joy intends to provide coffee that is completely grown, washed and processed by the women.

TASTING NOTES: Pure and balanced, pleasant acidity, plums and pears
